Springing into Creativity: A Season of Growth at Hamilton Wings.

There is a unique kind of magic that happens when a child realizes their voice matters. We saw it throughout January and February during our Girls in Motion sessions, and we see it every day as our SCORE! students compose the music for our upcoming June show. This April, we’re celebrating the 'spark' of creativity and inviting you to take a look behind the curtain at what our young artists are building next.

A MEANINGFUL WINTER

Girls in Motion – Wellness through Art

A Season of Self-Expression & Strength

Our January–February session of Girls in Motion was a powerful journey through the theme of Resilience. Each week, our participants explored a new word, identifying the inner strengths that help them navigate challenges and find their own creative rhythm.

This session was a beautiful example of community collaboration. We want to extend a huge thank you to Washington School for welcoming our program into their space, and to the Larkin Leads high school mentors, who provided such incredible guidance and leadership for the girls.

Watching these young artists and their mentors grow together through art and wellness was a true highlight of our winter season.

Dr. Risé Dawn Jones Day

January 10th we celebrated virtually Dr. Risé Dawn Jones day; sharing our art, creativity and the joy she brought as a community. Thank you everyone for your participation in honoring her legacy.

IN THE KNOW

Curious about SCORE!? Get a Peek Behind the Curtain!

Right now, our current SCORE! ensemble is in the high-energy phase of their creative season. They are busy composing original music, drafting scripts, and choreographing a production that is entirely their own. If you have a creative 9–13 year old and have been wondering what makes this program so unique, we invite you to join our SCORE! Interest List.

This isn't registration, it's your 'Backstage Pass' to learn more. By signing up, you’ll receive a series of emails over the coming weeks that share the story of our process, answer your questions, and ensure you're the first to know when our May 1st registration officially opens.

Grateful Grant Recipients
